This Ugly Yet Beautiful World is a short, twelve episode, CGI animation series released by GAINAX in 2004. Though they are known for Neo Genesis Evangelion, this series is quickly becoming recognized as one of their best works and has a growing fan base. It is about a pair of soul mates, Hikari and Takeru, who often remind me of SM, who are mortal enemies and fall in love. Check it out!
